This new Donor Center located in Ada includes a Community Room, Break Room that doubles as a Storm Shelter, controlled Reception Area, Screening Rooms, open-plan Donor Area with Snack Area, Laboratory, Offices, and Mobil Command Center with covered vehicle canopy for loading into mobile blood drive vehicles. Blood red was the color of choice for the standing seam metal roof and accent colors to help identify and promote blood donations. The building is located on a wooded site across from the new Chickasaw Hospital.
